    As a full carnivore it’s always a little scary when invited to a vegan dinner as I always think I’ll leave hungry. When I was invited for the Consicous Dinner pop up of Chef Vini, honestly I went in with some reservations but this 5 course set dinner was quite different. I could not have been more satisfied and surprised with the spread, also the dishes were flavourful. I was expecting the usual tofu, vegetable, bland type dishes and instead I got amazing katsu curry, entrees with fresh herbs and ingredients and things that I couldn’t even tell were made from plants. If you didn’t tell me it was vegan I probably would have thought I was eating a meat/veg meal.

    I was amazed with the concept you have and the venture you’re in!!! I ate and learnt what is lion’s mane mushrooms & unripe jackfruit!!! Also how to you rice paper roll apart from in Vietnamese roll & deep fried rice paper cracker as base canopy and many many more new things. Really awesome concept, inspiration, delicious food too!

    This vegan culinary experience wasn’t just about learning new recipes, it was an inspiring journey celebrating sustainability, community and creativity in the kitchen. A flavourful reminder of how simple changes can make a big impact towards a more sustainable and inclusive culinary world. We tried making Meatless steak burgers, veggie bomb pizza (Vegan frittata), and Vegan pawsome ice-cream. I really loved the meatless steak burger made from scratch using lion's mane mushrooms farmed from @mushroombuddies_sg. The rice paper Vini used in the vegan frittata gave it a unique and enjoyable texture, and the vegan paw-some ice-cream was a surprising delight made from an unexpected key ingredient – papaya! It was in fact one of the most interesting and delicious vegan dessert I had!

    My friend and I attended the farm-2-table culinary class and truly enjoyed it. This wasn’t anything like a regular cooking class in a closed kitchen, it was held at a city farm with semi open gallery. Vini taught us some really cool vegan recipes with unusual ingredients, like lion’s mane, rice paper dumplings.. simply mouthwatering. We even dived on topics like how to reduce food waste & carbon footprint which was so insightful! The overall atmosphere was relaxed, other attendees were super friendly and above all the food we learnt and cooked was super delicious. I left with valuable cooking lessons in sustainable plant-based cooking and a fun experience. Highly highly recommend anyone and everyone to try it.

    What a phenomenal meal! Everyone on my table was blown away and Vini really opened our eyes on how amazing something without meat in it could taste. Especially our friend Richard, he didn’t even mind that his dish wasn’t a pork cutlet but was made from pulled jackfruit haha… Wonderful dinner! We had a blast!

    As a 40 something year old guy I would never deliberately seek out vegan options - more from habit if nothing else. While we all know that plant-based diets are probably healthier overall, I've always had a nagging feeling that a meal without meat or even fish compromises on flavour. Well not anymore! My recent experience at Vinita's Vegan Dining Adventure was a delicious meal with a wide variety of interesting dishes, with wonderful flavours and textures. No boring, tasteless tofu, or polenta in sight! The entire evening was one of fantastically creative and innovative dishes (the crumbled jackfruit was a standout at our table) and everyone finished up satisfied and full. Perhaps an unusual compliment for the chef, but if I didn’t know it was a vegan meal, I wouldn’t have noticed. Top marks, would gladly go again and happy to recommend to friends too. An eye-opening experience.

    The Conscious Dinner was an overall excellent experience. Every course was thoughtful and hit on all senses - taste, textures and looks. It was not a great vegan meal, it was just a great meal, period! The food tasted amazing, and looked fabulous also. Loved all the courses - especially the Katsu Jackfruit. We left the restaurant feeling very happy, and look forward to another Plantiful Kitchen meal soon! The menu was very well curated. It was my first multiple course vegan-only experience. I thought my focus would be on looking for differences to what I normally eat, but I ended up just enjoying the delicious dishes, and the creativity of the chef.
